Saturday Night Venue Change!!!
There's been a change tonight (Saturday) for our late night venue. Late night is now at Sharkey's Restaurant and Bar at 41 East Lipoa Street, Kihei, HI 96753. It's a unique atmosphere to dance and play! Come prepared!
Did we mention there is air hockey, a live musician jam, and a gigantic pirate ship. Calling all musicians who want to bring an instrument — come prepared to jam!!!
OK, Maui Party is a dance party, on what has been described as the best island in the world. (No really, Conde Nast says so and everything!)
Maui. Party. is partly a lindy exchange. It is also partly a blues (house) party. It is also an excuse to show off our favorite places around the island. There are no dance competitions - there may be a "best mixed drink" competition though...
We will also guarantee that you will see some whales. Why? Because February is the middle of Hawaii's Humpback whale season, when they are giving birth to the new calves. This year we are even gonna plan a little boat trip to go see them up close.
Take one part lindy exchange, one part blues party, and one part island vacation. Mix together with some of your favorite dancers all hanging out, dancing, and partying on the best island in the world.
